Fox?s Baseball Night in America Continues; Charlie Sheen Joins Joe Buck for Yanks-Mets

Tonight, Fox Sports continues primetime baseball with coverage of six games. Most of the country will see the Subway Series game between the New York Yankees and New York Mets.

Joe Buck is back once again and it means he?ll have called 10 out of a possible 12 games this season. Pretty impressive thus far. And he?ll be at Citi Field with Tim McCarver and Ken Rosenthal for Yanks-Mets. Joining Joe, Tim and Ken will be Charlie Sheen who will pimp his new FX show, Anger Management.

Other games to be aired tonight include Atlanta-Boston, Washington-Baltimore, Dodgers-Angela and San Francisco-Oakland.

KEN ROSENTHAL: WILL CLEMENS GET MY HALL VOTE? ??With the news of former MLB pitcher?Roger Clemens? acquittal on all charges in his perjury trial, the discussion in the baseball world has turned to his Hall of Fame candidacy. MLB on FOX &?FOXSports.com?reporter?Ken Rosenthal?has a vote for the National Baseball Hall of Fame and believes this acquittal will not change much in the eyes of fellow voters. ?Nothing changes. If you believe that Roger Clemens used performance-enhancing drugs, I seriously doubt that the ?not guilty? verdict on Monday is going to persuade you he was clean. It?s sure not going to persuade me,? Rosenthal writes. ?Whether I vote for Clemens for the Hall of Fame, though, is another question entirely. And frankly, I?m not sure that even a conviction would have influenced my thinking, which is conflicted at best.?

HAMILTON ON PACE TO BREAK SINGLE-SEASON ALL-STAR BALLOTING MARK ??With less than three weeks before first pitch of Major League Baseball?s 83rd?Mid-Summer Classic, airing?Tuesday, July 10 (7:30 PM ET) on FOX, Rangers outfielder?Josh Hamilton?continues to be the leading vote getter in All-Star game balloting. Hamilton looks set to break?Jose Bautista?s?7.4 million single-season balloting record from last year, currently finding himself some 2 million votes shy of the mark. Yankees captain?Derek Jeter?remains in second place in the American League. Dodgers? outfielder?Matt Kemp?continues to lead the race for top spot in the National League, with Cincinnati Reds first baseman?Joey Votto?increasingly closing the gap from last week?s numbers in second place.

MCCARVER: BIGGEST SURPRISE IN MLB ISN?T WHO IS DOING WELL, IT?S WHO ISN?T??? With less than three weeks to go before MLB?s biggest stars take the field, MLB ON FOX and 2012 Ford C Frick Award recipient?Tim McCarver?looked at some of the storylines around the game as we approach the Midsummer Classic. ?Some of the bigger stories are about the players that aren?t in the discussion, as opposed to the players that are, for example ? someone like?Tim Lincecum.?Matt Cain?and his 14 strike-out perfect game last week, that?s a great story for MLB and the team but if people had been asked before the season, which player is going to the All-Star Game ? Matt Cain or Tim Lincecum, I think most everybody would have said Lincecum. Here we are in June and Lincecum continues to struggle. There are a lot of stories that stand out but that?s one that certainly stands out to me.?

That?s all.
