Big Bear Lake, CA, March 2, 2012, noon - A big annual event is taking place at Bear Mountain Resort on Saturday.??It?s the Ski-a-thon 2012 and has been described as the most rewarding event of the season because it benefits the U.S Adaptive Recreation Center.??Teams of 4 or individuals can enter and then make as many runs as possible that day raising money through pledges or each completed run.??It?s a lot of fun, a lot of exercise and you get a lift ticket, a t-shirt, lunch, line cutting privileges and apr?s-ski festivities.??You can sign up at the mountain or on line at the USARC.org.

Mike Evans returned to Parallel Broadcasting KBHR 93.3 FM in October of 2010 after a two-year departure from the station. Evans who previously worked at the KBHR studios from June of 2005, to August of 2008 as the Music Director and Morning Show Host, spent two years at Ruby Radio Corporation in Elko, Nevada where he acted as Program Director for three radio stations there. Evans came back to KBHR to takeover the role of Program Director, Music Director, and Production Director. ?We are very excited to have Mike back at the station? said Cathy Herrick, Operations Director and Vice President of KBHR. ?His extensive experience and enthusiasm for radio, and the broadcast media will be a tremendous asset for KBHR? s future.? Evans has been working in radio since 1976, and worked at radio stations in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, Miami, Florida, Albany & Saratoga, New York, and San Francisco, California.
