The Marketing Communications Program Manager will report to the Manager of Product Marketing. The role will have two main areas of responsibilities. First, he/she will work closely with a dynamic, cross-functional team to establish the brand identity of the company and of its product(s) in the marketplace as consistent with the company?s short and long-term goals. Second, he/she will play a critical role in the launch of the company next generation product by planning and executing communications, promotional activities, and events. Primary responsibilities include the following:
? Manage the marketing communications initiatives outlined in the company?s marketing communications plan and the commercial launch plan.
? Ensure consistent, appropriate branding, positioning, and marketing messaging throughout all communications channels, marketing materials, programs, and events.
? Play a lead role in driving all communications, collateral, promotional items, events, and programs associated with the company?s commercial launch.
? Work intimately with the product marketing team and managed care marketing team to support commercialization and adoption efforts, communications, and programs.
? Support company?s public relations efforts.
? Manage the day to day relationships with creative agencies and marketing communications firms.
? Take a lead role in driving the creation, enhancement and ongoing management of the company?s internet site(s), presentations, marketing collateral and promotional items (including fulfillment).
? Plan and coordinate customer programs and events, company participation at conferences, and exhibits.
? Support the sales force in creation of customer-targeted promotional and educational materials.
? Initiate and manage approval processes of marketing collateral for the company in compliance with all regulatory and quality system procedures and policies.
Qualifications
? Has an undergraduate degree in marketing, communications or business.
? Has a minimum of 3 years of experience in Marketing Communications, with at least half of that time spent in healthcare-related fields.
? Is knowledgeable in current best practices of marketing communications and marketing programs within the healthcare sector.
? Must possess the ability to lead cross-functional team members and external vendors to meet milestones.
? Possesses strong project management skills to ensure deadlines are met and work proceeds efficiently.
? Must be creative and resourceful and have a strong attention to detail.
? Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
